Ever wondered why we feel pain after some time instead of feeling it since the beginning? Well, I’ve got your answer —

But, before that we need to understand how is pain detected?

The way pain is detected

When something hot or too cold is touched the sensory receptors on our skin send signals to the brain informing that it’s something likely not to be touched or either you could say they send a message to the brain that there might be a wound in the body (in a specific area).

Why don’t we feel pain immediately

In basic words the reason why we don’t feel pain after getting hurt is because the brain tries to calm you down by ignoring the signals sent by nerves telling that there is an injury/pain is detected.

I don’t have much knowledge about this topic and I may be wrong at certain things, this information should not be used proffesionaly.
